We are passionate and compassion driven to provide quality dedicated supportive services to our Women Veterans long overdue need for housing. Our home is the first of its kind (dedicated to Veterans) in a 4 county radius, of which one of the four counties is the largest in the United States of America. Our Women Veterans have serviced proudly and in California our Vet Sisters comprise 11% of the Veteran population, with Riverside County (Shelter Location) Veterans ranks number 4 with 124,115 Veterans and San Bernardino County is number 5 (see: California Department of Veterans Affairs Fact Sheet (pdf/2014)).
However, the plight of homeless Women Veterans in the Inland Empire is staggering and ONE Veteran on the streets is too many!
We use a holistic and Phase oriented approaches, interactive instructions, and collaborations with agencies and service providers, who are focused on the total welfare of our Vet Sisters. The Meta Point is the crucial component of intervention between the previous Phase, the present Phase, and the future Phase in the woman’s life. The previous phase is the victim phase. The present phase is the shelter phase. The future phase is the progressive steps of the Vet Sister towards Self-Sufficiency. Specific needs are met during each phase. The phases are inter-linked. What is addressed in one phase will impact and influence the results of each subsequent phase.
We follow holistic methodologies within the shelter that recognizes and addresses the whole Woman and the inclusive needs of her family.
We holistically focus on the total person to facilitate and identify the fractures in the psyche and emotions. We are here to help our Vet Sisters to live a better quality of life thorough our Vet Staff, Vet Mentors, Vet Clinicians and our caring Vet Volunteers BECAUSE, its ALL about Recovery Recovery Recovery!!!
