HUBBARD HOUSE

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Hubbard House is to provide an affordable, family-centered, supportive home-away-from home for families while loved ones are receiving care at one of the ORH hospitals. It is our purpose to keep families together in the midst of medical crisis, to reduce stress, to promote self-help and mutual support. The Hubbard House serves as a center for educational, volunteerism and supportive groups within the community.

HUBBARD HOUSE VOLUNTEER

MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the Hubbard House Volunteers is to provide a safe, clean, comfortable and trouble-free home-away-from-home for all of our guests. To be an effective, efficient team providing a harmonious relationship between all areas of Orlando Regional Healthcare. To provide a return in service and fellowship within the community for the philanthropic families who contribute to our home.

Description

The Hubbard House is a Hospitality House, built in 1993 and opened in January 1994. With 21,000 square feet of living space, we have 21 guest rooms, TV rooms, exercise facility and full kitchen with family style dining room. Three meals per day are served.

Our priority is to house trauma patients that do not live locally - they must be from outside Orange County. But also, families of patients in any of our facilities are welcome. Additionally, patients undergoing cancer treatment are able to stay here on campus for the duration of their treatment.

We are part of the NAHHH - National Association of Hospital Hospitality Homes.
