Mission Statement

The mission of the Chester County Parks & Recreation Department is to enhance the quality of life through educational programs, recreational opportunities, and partnerships. The Department serves the community by protecting and managing open space while interpreting natural, cultural and historical resources.

Description

Chester County Parks and Recreation serves the public through 4 regional parks and 2 regional trails totalling about 4,500 acres throughout Chester County. The Department offers educational and interpretive programs, special events, as well as passive recreational opportunities.
