Banana Link

Description

Banana Link is a not-for-profit co-operative based in Norwich, which works for fair and sustainable banana and pineapple trades. We raise awareness of the poor living and working conditions faced by plantation workers and small producers in Latin America, Africa and the Caribbean.

We also have a Union to Union programme aimed at building solidarity links between Latin America and West African trade unions at one end of international banana and pineapple supply chains, and British trade unionists at the other.

Our translation needs range from helping translate content for our bilingual website, English and Spanish, as well as translating a wide variety of documents into and out of French, Spanish and English. These documents can range from short emails to longer technical texts which helps us communicate with trade union partners in Latin America and West Africa.
