Minority Development & Empowerment, Inc., MDEI, is committed to providing quality services, referrals, and advocacy to the Caribbean immigrant population in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Our primary objective is to ensure and facilitate access to meet our clients' health, social, economic, educational, and personal needs.

Description

MDEI services the unempowered, low income population of Broward County through more than 10 youth and family and health services programs. Our programs include out of school activities, tutoring, breast cancer screening for haitian women, HIV Prevention and Outreach Activities, and more. The organization has been in operation since 1996.
