Mission Statement

Located in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, the Wright Museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit educational institution dedicated to recognizing and honoring the contributions and enduring legacy of WWII-era Americans.

Description

The Wright Museum of WWII tells the story of the home front experience during the war years through permanent exhibits and seasonal programming. The Museum showcases how the war years continue to influence American history today, a thread that unites generations.

The Museum's educational programs include special exhibitions, theater, lectures and a movie series. Annual signature events include an antique car show, Family Day, and a musical concert by the Manhattan Dolls. In 2014 the Museum launched a Victory Garden to grow their own vegetables, and held a food drive, giving the whole harvest and all the donated cans to the local L.I.F.E. Ministries Food Pantry.
