Mission Statement

SouthEast Effective Development is a not-for-profit community development corporation that invests in the future of Southeast Seattle by facilitating social, economic, housing and cultural programs within the community.

Founded in 1975, SEED works to strengthen and revitalize the neighborhoods and business districts of Southeast Seattle.

MISSION: SEED is committed to improving the quality of life in Southeast Seattle by creating partnerships and serving as a catalyst for community investments in housing, economic development, and arts and culture.
