Out of the Woodwork uses interactive theater to provide learning opportunities for patrons and the cast itself. The company provides hands- on educational activities for all ages. While learning theater techniques, the cast learn how to function as a team, regardless of the age, race, gender, background or ethnicity of the team members. Practical business and management skills are taught as members return each year and assume greater responsibility for the production.

We also provide internship-type experience for health care and law enforcement students in our Safety and Security division. Cast and crew are taught handy carpentry, landscape and general maintenance skills when working on preparing a given site for a performance.

The entire administration, cast and crew is made up of volunteers, some have been with us for over 15 yrs. Whatever your interest, you will find this a most rewarding and enjoyable experience.
