Mission Statement

NIFAA: The National Institute for Animal Advocacy trains animal rescue and rights advocates how to win strong local and state laws to protect animals from suffering and abuse. NIFAA is recognized nationally as being the only group that provides this training and know-how. NIFAA enables advocates and groups to become power players in the lawmaking arena in their town, city, county or state. NIFAA's comprehensive manual, GET POLITICAL FOR ANIMALS AND WIN THE LAWS THEY NEED (available at www.nifaa.org), was published in May 2007 to rave reviews and already is in its 4th printing.

Description

Although support and concern for animals is tremendous and growing, laws to protect them from suffering and abuse remain primitive and unenforced. NIFAA is recognized nationally as being the only group that provides this training and know-how to enable advocates and groups to become power players in the lawmaking arena in their town, city, county or state. NIFAA's comprehensive manual, GET POLITICAL FOR ANIMALS AND WIN THE LAWS THEY NEED (available at www.nifaa.org), was published in May 2007 to rave reviews and already is in its 4th printing.
