World Vets

Description

World Vets volunteers include veterinarians, technicians, veterinary and pre-veterinary students as well as those with no formal training who are willing to help and learn. Most of our focus is international. We set up veterinary projects (typically 7-10 days duration) in areas of need around the world. We work with all species of animals. A typical "World Vets Team" that is sent out on projects might include 2 vets, 2 technicians and 2 vet assistant trainees. Some animal experience is helpful (but not required) to be a trainee. Our projects range from remote spay/neuter clinics on tropical islands, to working with horses in central america to scuba diving with whale sharks to collect research data.
