To stimulate available resources for individuals of all ages, to attain skills, knowledge, attitudes and motivations, to secure meaningful volunteer opportunities.

Description

Connect people with opportunities to serve by recruiting and referring volunteers to agencies in the community, by participating in Make A Difference Day and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and by promoting special events that in need of volunteers. Build the capacity for effective local volunteering by providing volunteer management trainings to local agencies.Promote volunteering by recruiting volunteers at Skunk Run and Chautauqua Days. Volunteering will be promoted by volunteer recognitions. The Ottawa Volunteer Center will participate in strategic initiatives that mobilize volunteers to meet local community needs.
