Mission Statement

Our objective is to provide research-based information to the public and farmers in Middlesex County through a network of paid staff and trained volunteers who teach and assist . These programs are educational in nature and are designed to enhance horticultural knowledge.

Description

We are a non-profit educational and research based organization that has a designated area to utilize for the public's benefit in a beautiful undeveloped park, Davidson Mill Pond Park. Rutgers Cooperative Extension includes such programs as Master Gardeners, 4-H, Expanded Food and Nutrition. There are several garden areas featuring vegetables, herbs, shade, and native plants. We also have a rain garden and container plantings, as well as a compost and vermiculture area.
