Mission Statement

The mission and purpose of the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge is to provide a temporary home-like residence without charge to the cancer patient. Hope Lodge facilitates the cancer treatment process by providing an emotionally supportive environment, while reducing the financial burden of necessary multiple night stays

We are looking for individuals and groups of volunteers to fulfill our mission in providing a supportive environment to cancer patients undergoing treatment

The guests at Hope Lodge are so incredibly grateful when we came to cook a meal for them. I love that Hope Lodge provides free lodging to people that have to travel to the Twin Cities for cancer treatment. Taking the burden of having to pay for a hotel and allowing us to come in and serve a meal is just so rewarding.
