Mission Statement

Our Mission is to identify, collect, protect, interpret and create a historical group of resources for the City of Gibraltar. This includes pictures, documents, oral history, historic homes, historic landscapes, historical artifacts, etc. All of the historical resources are to be used for public education and research for the City of Gibraltar.

Description

The museum collections include but are not limited to the following: lighthouse drawings, abstracts, aerial photography of the city, zoning charts, recreation center, One Room School/City Hall, Businesses, Books, Duk Amphibious Vehicles, Gibraltar Fire Department, Newspaper articles, etc. The museum is located on the 2nd floor of the Gibraltar City Hall. The museum hosts monthly talks about our history and will be fundraising through different city events throughout the year.
