To promote understanding and acceptance towards gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgendered people, build community and touch the lives of our audiences through musical excellence.

Description

The Gulf Coast Men's Chorus was formed in 1997 and Harmony: The Women's Voices of Sarasota was formed in 2005 with the express purpose of performing excellent choral music and using that medium to foster positive feelings and understanding toward the gay, lesbian, transgendered and bi-sexual individuals in our community.

The choruses perform jointly in two major concerts each season and several smaller performances throughout the year for community organizations, churches, civic groups, etc. Occasionally the choruses will travel to out of town concerts.

Membership is open to all people who like to sing and who enjoy the company of other singers from all walks of life.
