Mission: Provide a wide range of excellent career and employment services through partnerships at our Marina Del Rey location.
Our services are free to the public. Clients use our self-help Resource Center and/or work one-on-one with staff. The Resource Center is equipped with job listings, computers, fax, printer, telephones, assistive technology, and community services information. Clients can also choose to attend different job search workshops (resume, interview, how to start a business, how to become a union apprentice) and employer recruitments (employers come on-site to interview clients for different jobs). A client seeking one-on-one assistance from staff would work with a Case Manager and a Job Developer. The Case Manager works with the client to develop and employment plan and will assist with some career assessment tests and supportive services as needed. The Job Developer provides the client with job leads, helps set up interviews, and advocates to employers on the client's behalf.
