Mission Statement

Haight Ashbury Psychological Services is in it's 28th year. We provide both low fee psychotherapy to the working poor as well as provide high quality training for masters and doctoral level students who are working towards licensure. Most often we have up to 24 interns providing weekly psychotherapy for up to 8 clients each. Throughout the years, we have proudly received high marks from clients and the students we have trained.

Description

Haight Ashbury Psychological Services provides services for a wide range of problems facing the community: depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, family concerns, recovery from past abuse and life transitions. At HAPS, we fit our approach to the client, not the other way around. Our interns receive training in a variety of perspectives and techniques so that they may support clients to reach and maintain a healthier and higher level of functioning then previously possible.
