Greenwood House Hospice is a non-profit organization certified by Medicare and Medicaid where providing hospice and palliative care emphasizes CARE not cure. Patients are served wherever they call home.
Greenwood Hospice supports families as they meet the challenges created by a terminal illness by providing services to both patients and their loved ones so they can concentrate on quality of time spent together.
A team of nurses, social workers, Rabbi or chaplain, home health aides and volunteers work with patients and their loved ones to provide individualized care according to the patient's needs and desires. Bereavement support is provided up to 13 months following the death of a loved one. Greenwood Hospice provides all services without regard to race, religion, national origin, disability, age or sexual orientation.
