Mission Statement

Located in Waltham, Massachusetts, Breaking Barriers sole mission is providing recent Latino/a immigrants with the skills they need in order to lead the most fulfilling, productive lives possible in their new communities. The organization provides a range of programs aimed at eliminating the barriers of language, culture, and stereotyping that have traditionally stood between new immigrants and full entry into American life. Whether through one-on-one, group, or community outreach, Breaking Barriers strives to build local leadership and to improve the education, work, and family lives of its participants, their social circles, and the Latino community overall.

Breaking Barriers, Inc. provides a series of empowerment, language, life skills, and career programs to recent Latino/a immigrants in order to accelerate and streamline their successful integration into their new communities and the American culture
