Newborns In Need is an all-volunteer organization. We function solely on donations from caring individuals and businesses that want to help with this worthy cause. All contributions received are used for the needs of premature, sick and needy infants and children. Newborns In Need, California Gold Chapter furnishes hand-made blankets, gowns, caps, booties and additional essentials to hospitals, shelters and other organizations that provide for premature,sick and needy infants and children. For those families that need even the basic necessities, we provide such items as diapers, bibs, formula, bottles, lotions, powder, diaper bags, crib sheets, wet ones, and other baby care items. The most heartbreaking need we provide are tiny burial layettes for babies who need only an outfit and blanket in which to be nestled.
