Mission Statement

Since 1989, the AIDS/HIV Nightline has provided confidential, non-judgmental emotional support and crisis intervention services to people with concerns about HIV.

Description

The AIDS/HIV Nightline assists any caller with an HIV concern:

-Anyone testing HIV positive

-People needing emotional support around HIV treatment

-Longtime survivors

-Professional and personal caregivers

-Family, Friends and loved ones of persons with HIV/AIDS

-Anyone grieving the loss of someone to HIV/AIDS

-People going through the HIV testing experience

-Everyone needing information about risk exposure and prevention

The AIDS/HIV Nightline provides important help with the significant emotional and psychological burdens associated with the uncertainties of the disease.

Our callers, like our volunteers, represent all cultures, ethnicities, ages, genders, and sexual orientations.
