Project Angel Heart improves health and well-being for people with life-threatening illnesses by preparing and delivering medically tailored meals and promoting the power of food as medicine.

Description

For over 1,800 clients each week, Project Angel Heart embodies stability and hope by providing nutritious meals made in our state-of-the-art kitchen free of charge, and specifically prepared to meet the nutritional needs of each individual client.

This is a great organization- I've been a kitchen assistant/volunteer for almost 4 years now. I've also helped deliver meals. A fine group of people have volunteered over the years. What a great way to help and meet good people. They have different shifts available, and different volunteer opportunities. If you're looking for a centrally located-community based, pleasant atmosphere- this is the one.
