Mission Statement
The Potomac Celtic Alliance seeks to present the cultures of Ireland, Scotland, the Isle of Man, Wales, Cornwall, Brittany, and Galicia, and their evolution in North America, with integrity and accuracy. The PCA wishes to emphasize both the commonality and the diversity of these cultures and the cooperation achieved in the 20 th and 21 st centuries to preserve Celtic heritage. It is the intention of the PCA to provide the means whereby the tradition of Celtic heritage can be passed on to future generations.

The Potomac Celtic Alliance announces the 15 th anniversary of the Potomac Celtic Festival to take place on the Historic Green of Morven Park in Leesburg, Virginia, on Saturday June 14, 2008 from 10:00 am-7:00 pm.
The Festival features the cultures of all the Celtic Nations, which include Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, The Isle of Man, Brittany (France), Galicia and Asturias (Spain), as well as those descendants who transplanted to the New World! With a stunning backdrop of Loudoun County horse and winery country, and just 30 minutes from the Washington Beltway, the Potomac Celtic Festival is a prime attraction amongst the spectacular historical sites and rolling hills.
This year's festival offers acclaimed musicians, and dancers, storytellers, poets and workshops, activities for children of all ages, the wares of many juried craft exhibitors and specialty import vendors, 1500 years of historical reenactment, the pageantry of our bagpipe led parade of Celtic Clans and Societies, food for every taste, and a selection of fine ale, beer, wine and soft drinks. All of the family fun that has become synonymous with PCF!
For 15 years the Potomac Celtic Festival has been more than just a cultural heritage festival; it has been a labor of love, run by a staff of volunteers, craftspeople, vendors, historians, and performers. We wish to use our 15 thwww.pcfest.org as they become available. Anniversary to spotlight the talent that helped build the Potomac Celtic Festival- musicians, dancers, crafters and vendors from throughout the Mid Atlantic, with a strong focus on Virginia and the Metropolitan DC area.
