Would you recommend Boston By Foot?

I can't say enough good things about Boston By Foot. I joined the organization in 2009 and have been deeply involved ever since. There is no end to the opportunities to involve yourself with this organization - and I am continually delighted to find how encouraging and helpful everyone is. I would highly recommend volunteering with Boston By Foot to anyone!

I became a guide for Boston By Foot last year and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I’d highly recommend this volunteer opportunity to those passionate about history, Boston and meeting new people. In addition to giving walking tours, there are many ways you can get involved with the organization, depending on your time and interests. I am continually impressed with and inspired by all of the individuals who have come together with these shared interests. It is a great opportunity to meet Bostonians from different walks of life, as well as many fascinating tourists that go on the walks. It is also a great opportunity to challenge oneself with the continued learning the organization offers. Another great thing is you do not need to be an expert of Boston’s history or architecture or public speaking to join. If you are looking to learn more about this great and historical city, this is the organization for you!
