Description

Pyramid Adult Day Training Program is a non-profit organization serving more than 170 individuals with developmental disabilities in the Tampa Bay Area. Pyramid offers a true Liberal Arts Training Program. We offer a diverse curriculum with advanced performing and visual art courses. Our Artists have shown in galleries throughout the state and our Players (a troupe of singers, dancers and actors) have performed for audiences of over 500.

Pyramid is a first rate program with full service care; including an onsite nurse, therapeutic repositioning and assistance with all activities of daily life. Pyramid offers classes on computer graphics, sign language, job training, independent living, academics, visual arts, performing arts and many others. We offer trips into the community; providing life skill training, exposure to the arts and we even take a vacation to the beach.

These are the standard services that all Pyramid day programs provide, however, each Pyramid does much more than that. Pyramid believes in its participants' abilities and provides a "meaningful day" for individuals with the most severe cognitive, behavioral and physical issues, and strives to provide individualized programs that assist the people we serve in gaining independence and becoming full participants in their community.
