Description
The Day Reporting Center (DRC) Pilot Program, as part of the Community Corrections Center in Mobile County has been established to provide an incarceration alternative to the Boot Camp/Work Release Facilities.
The program is designed to control and manage non-violent offenders in the community by providing appropriate discipline, as well as substance abuse rehabilitation, employment, financial restitution and educational opportunities for offenders so that once the offender completes the program, they will have all the tools needed to become a productive member of society.
Unlike the Prison Boot Camps, which are restricted to male felons of a youthful age, the DRC is able to handle both male and female felons with no age requirement specifications.
