Make-A-Wish Foundation

Description

The foundation began in 1980 and has since granted over 155,000 wishes. Our chapter was established in 1983, and we have granted over 3,400 wishes. We serve all 105 counties in Missouri and 6 counties in Kansas that are part of Metro Kansas City.

Volunteers play a vital role in fulfilling wishes within our organization. Hours are flexible and all volunteers receive training. We can work with your schedule and availability and can try to find the right fit for you! We have manyfun, rewarding events throughout the year to help these deserving, brave children. Because our territory is so large, we need volunteers throughout. We work with volunteers to provide opportunities close to their place residence.
