The mission of HELPNJNOW.ORG is to provide education, information, resources and connections regarding disaster preparedness, relief, response and recovery efforts. When a disaster strikes in NJ, HELPNJNOW.ORG is the source for identifying needs and collecting resources to assist in effective relief and response efforts.

Description

HELPNJNOW.ORG is a web-based resource developed by NJVOAD (New Jersey Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster), the NJ Governor’s Office of Volunteerism, and the NJOEM (New Jersey Office of Emergency Management) to provide education, direction, information and tools for people to help themselves and others in a disaster. Most importantly, HELPNJNOW.ORG contains a portal for people to donate money, register to volunteer, or donate materials needed in response and recovery efforts. HELPNJNOW.ORG turns good intentions into meaningful contributions of time, talents, and resources needed to help New Jersey weather whatever storms lie ahead.
