Mission Statement

Our mission is to reduce pet overpopulation by offering high-volume, low-cost spay & neuter surgeries and to educate our community about responsible pet ownership.

Description

We are a small non-profit organization dedicated to reducing euthanasia numbers at our local animal control through aggressive low cost, high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter services and adoptions. We offer low-cost spay/neuter services to all residents, regardless of income, and are currently raising funds to open our own spay/neuter clinic. We have spayed or neutered over 4,000 animals since our beginning in 2003 and placed over 8,000 cats and kittens in loving homes and we've only just begun! We work with feral as well as domestic cats and are an Alley Cat Ally Friend. Help us help the animals - volunteer with CATS-CAN/SpayNSave today!

We are also a cat rescue organization, placing cats for adoption out of Oviedo and Lake Mary PetsMart stores.

The volunteers at SpayNSave are dedicated, experienced people who are passionate about reducing the pet-overpopulation problem. Everyone is nice, very knowledgeable and fun to work with. I had a great time working at a clinic and will be working again in September. I highly recommend this group as a volunteer experience!
