Title: Fundraiser Reports to: Development Director Position Description: Working in conjunction with the development team, the role of Fundraiser is to solicit donations from companies, wealthy benefactors, trusts, foundations, and members of the public. The Fundraiser is responsible for building relationships and teaching potential donors about the work of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Raise funds for annual, capital, and other campaigns Regularly meet or surpass fundraising targets Research potential donors to gain insight into needs, beliefs and donation habits to understand how to position the organization to them Assist in brainstorming and creating new methods to raise funds for the organization Leverage technology and social media where possible to improve fundraising activities Assist in planning and coordinating events meant to raise funds Assist Marketing Department to create marketing materials to be used for the promotion of events and other fundraising pushes Analyze the performance of events and other fundraising activities for effectiveness and to identify areas where money can be saved Maintain complete and orderly records of donors Build upon existing donor relationships and form new donor relationships on a regular basis Complete projects as laid out in the annual development plan Other assigned duties: Attend and participate in all volunteer meetings Provide coordination and participation in fundraising activities

Title: Marketing Director Reports to: Executive Director Position Description: Reporting to and in partnership with the Executive Director, the role of the Marketing Director is to develop, implement and execute the marketing plan. This includes researching potential audiences, analysis of market segmentation, internal and external branding, and creating branding campaigns which are cost effective. This includes creating an annual fundraising plan, as well as the development and implementation of marketing and fundraising strategies which are both cost-effective and time-efficient. Key Responsibilities: Recommends yearly budget for Board approval and prudently manages organization's resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations In conjunction with Accounting and Compliance, responsible for developing and maintaining sound financial practices. Ensures that the organization operates within budget guidelines. Oversees fundraising planning and implementation, including identifying resource requirements, researching funding sources, establishing strategies to approach funders, submitting proposals and administrating fundraising records and documentation Provide leadership in developing program, organizational and financial plans with the Board of Directors and staff, and carry out plans and policies authorized by the board. Ensure that adequate funds are available to permit the organization to carry out its work.
