Mission Statement

The purpose the 21st Century Learning Triangle is to create a safe-haven for at-risk youth where the growth of the whole child (mind, body and soul) is fostered. We provide tutoring, test prep, counseling, peer mentoring, league athletics, performance arts, and science and technology activities.

Description

The 21st Century Learning Triangle is a non-profit 501(c)(3) community learning center operating during before and after school in an urban public charter school. We also provide a six week summer camp for eleven hours per day. The center is funded primarily through a grant under Title IV of the No Child Left Behind Act. This is the last year that we are eligible to receive this grant. With limited money in a tight public charter school budget, we are striving to achieve sustainability through advocacy, fundraising, grant making, and foundation backing.
