Description

The National League of Female Veterans was created to act as an advocate of the issues facing female veterans and their families. Currently, there are approximately two million female veterans documented in the United States. Traditional services for veterans do not always fit the needs of female veterans and those closest to them. In light of this fact, The National League of Female Veterans (NLFV) mission is to empower female war veterans and their family members to optimally rebuild their lives after military service through:

  • Education - Knowledge of available resources that will aid your successful transition from military to civilian life.
  • Supportive Services - Face to face or online permanent and placement/ referral for homeless female veterans; referrals to for rent, utility payments, and moving expenses, and services. Assistance with filing VA , chaperon veterans to VA Hospital and/or VA Benefits appointments and all female groups and counseling.
