United Way of Brevard

I really haven't a reason to comment yet. I am going through VolunteerMatch.org. which has directed me to many wonderful opportunities. Looking forward to hearing from United Way,so that I may help and give back to my community.

I did not have any experience in tax preparation. I found all that was necessary was a strong desire to help, willingness to follow instructions and ability to enter data. The training was great. We did role playing and received lots of guidance and tips before and during tax season. The software was also easy to use. By answering simple questions, it will prepare the return for you. Someone experienced was always available to answer questions or assist and each return was reviewed to ensure we prepared it properly. Our schedule was very flexible and I had many choices for times and locations. It was well coordinated which made it easy to find a slot that worked best with my schedule. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and positively impact your local community. I am looking forward to doing it again this year!
