Description

Danbury Railway Museum is a non-profit, all-volunteer Museum located on White Street in Danbury, CT. Our restored 1903 station contains a number of exhibits and artifacts and operating layouts, and our 6-acre railyard houses over 60 pieces of rolling stock, many of which are restored, or in the process of being restored. Many of our pieces are of historical interest. We also have a large resource and reference library.

Free presentations with a railroad theme (slide shows, modeling demonstations, and talks) are open to the public each Wednesday evening.

On weekends from April - December, train rides are available in our railyard, and numerous events are held throughout the year.

The Museum is of interest to railfans of all ages.
