Mission Statement

The mission of the SFCED is to attract and retain jobs in San Francisco, by working collaboratively with the city and county of San Francisco, the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, and other like minded organizations and individuals, including site selectors, consultants and other professionals to make San Francisco the number one place to work and do business.

We are please to work with companies, industry organizations and their representatives to facilitate business location and expansion in San Francisco. Our vision is simple: to make San Francisco the Number 1 place in the U.S. for business.

Building on the strength and opportunities of our City and the region, the SFCED focuses on building relationships and opportunities with domestic and international companies in the following sectors:
