Mission Statement

Are you passionate about wine, Washington wine country and volunteering? Do you easily engage with a diverse group of wine lovers? Are you interested in expanding and sharing your knowledge with fellow enthusiasts?

Woodinville Wine Country (WWC):

A community of over 100 Washington wineries that

promotes our world-class wine destination.

We need volunteers - 21 or older -- who:

  • Demonstrate passion for the Woodinville Wine Country
  • Show skill with Office software, administration and events
  • Can commit to 14 hours a month
  • Will work weekdays and/or weekends

Description

  • Secure on-going local and regional media coverage to build top-of-mind awareness through seasonal media outreach
  • Investigate the use of sponsorships and grants to enhance programs
  • Leverage seasonal events to increase destination awareness
  • Establish Woodinville Wine Country as the goto source for reliable information on Western Washington wine tasting
  • Investigate the use of sponsorships and grants to enhance programs
  • Utilize social media to build awareness and strengthen WWC’s relationship with consumers
  • Build partnerships with city officials and community groups to grow vision and amenities that support Woodinville as a lifestyle destination over the next decade
  • Work in partnership with the Wash Wine Commission to reach national media and trade
