Mission Statement

As the nonprofit partner of the Wehr Nature Center, the Friends of Wehr supports Wehr’s mission of inspiring current and future generations to explore and value the natural world.

Description

Friends of Wehr provides funding for maintenance of hiking trails, control of invasive species, signs, exhibits, program materials, support for education programs, sponsorship of events, support for outreach programs such as Nature in the Parks, summer internships, and volunteer recognition.
