Description

Easter Seals UCP NC, Inc.- Volunteer Families is a volunteer driven program. Volunteer Families is based on the belief that the community has a responsibility to care for its children and that neighbors can effectively help neighbors. Volunteer Families provides training for volunteer foster families who provide care in their homes (approximately 1-30 days) for children in an emergency or family crisis with no place to go. Our host families also provide much needed relief through planned respite that supports very fragile families who are trying to keep their children out of the foster care system.
