SWEDCO's mission is to provide programs, activities, educational materials and training to the residents to empower them to take action to improve the environmental quality of life, health, social, cultural, and economic status and existing conditions of our community.

Description

SWEDCO is a private, non profit, 501(c)(3) Georgia Corporation. We conduct community needs assessments, provide funding for a wide range of programs and activities to educate and empower underserved communities. We implement streambank restoration and other flood mitigation projects. We provide environmental education training for teachers, students and seniors. We conduct surveys, and market analysis to determine market needs. We develop educational materials to educate the public about the environment and economic development issues.
