Mission Statement

STARCorps Veterans Project is an Americorps State program that is dedicated to improving housing and employment opportunities for homeless or impoverished veterans in Summit, Lorain, Mahoning, & Portage Counties in Northeast Ohio.

Description

STARCorps members assist and support local veteran serving organizations, including Supportive Services for Veterans and Families, transitional housing for homeless veterans and intesive outpatient boarding for veterans. Member direct volunteer efforts for intiatives helping veterans, aide veterans in maintaining housing and employment, and educate local workplaces on the benefits of employing veterans.
