Mission Statement

Community of Hope, Incorporated's purpose is to be a charitable, Christian organization led by the Spirit of Holy God in providing a closely structured, tightly mentored, re-parenting, half-way-type living/working educational environment that will enable any recovering substance abuser, after de-toxifying, and any qualifying homeless person to have an opportunity to re-enter succesfully into main stream life as contributing members of society. The counseling and educational aspects of the program will be accomplished through a one year program that will include intensive personality and character development classes and life-skills training in anger management, marriage enrichment, parenting skills, financial integrity, nutrition and safety awareness, etc. Individuals will be housed as "family units" in apartments living with a trained mentor. Families will be housed living near to trained mentors. Individuals will be trained and employed in businesses sponsored by the Corporation in order to work alongside mentors who will help develop their character and job skills.
