Mission Statement

To provide a nationally available transportation resource for people who are in immediate need of relocation and housing, due to life threatening danger from domestic violence. Our goal is to be able to facilitate a move of location to a safe place anywhere within the United States.

Description

The foundation accomplishes its mission by purchasing bus, train, and airline tickets, and by providing direct point to point automotive transport. We also supply shelters with gas cards as supplemental support for their in-house transportation needs.

A secondary aspect of the organization is advocacy for Trauma Informed Care. We accomplish this by promoting nurturing and empowering shelter environments. The shelter environment plays an important part of a person’s emotional and mental well being and should not be overlooked

Our outreach and awareness is accomplished by participating in various events such as music festivals, cars shows and car races, and community festivals. Since our launch in 2011 we have made over 300 connections with shelters, shelter coalitions, and domestic violence resources. These programs represent services in over 28 states.
