Skyline Community Action Program, Inc. is a non-profit community action program offering comprehensive services to low and moderate income individuals and families in Madison, Greene and Orange Counties in Virginia. Administrative offices are located in Madison County,Virginia with a satelite office in Stanardsville, Va. One of 26 community action agencies in Virginia and over 1000 in the country, Skyline C.A.P. offers comprehnsive services in Housing, Emergency Assistance/outreach and Education programs including the nationally recognized Head Start Pre-School program. Families and Individuals receive housing counseling, budget counseling, rental assistance, referrals and housing repair in its service area. Skyline C.A.P.'s programs operate through federal, state, local and private funding to help reduce poverty and the devasting affects of poverty on individuals and families in need. However, our greatest resource for operations is staff and volunteers. In the truest spirit of community action, we have made a committment to communities by giving individuals opportunity for employment and community service through volunteering.
