The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center Exists To
Empower people to lead full and rewarding lives without limits based on sexual orientation and gender identity, by providing the highest quality educational, cultural, and wellness programs to residents of Los Angeles County;
Heal the damage caused by discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, by providing the highest quality health and social services to residents of Los Angeles County in need;
Advocate full access and equality for all people regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, by promoting our communities' needs at local, state, and national levels; and

Description
Positive Images is a program at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center offering discussion groups and workshops for gay and bisexual HIV-positive men. Positive Images offers services to all HIV-positive men, ranging from those who've been recently diagnosed through those who've been living with HIV for more than 20 years. Positive Images understands the need for a space where men can come together to discuses the stigmas and struggles of living with HIV and also share stories of self discovery and progress. Positive Images also supports men with up-to-date HIV forums and skills-building workshops on such subjects as: Status Disclosure, Meds, Dating, Group Facilitation, Health, Sex, and much more.
