Mission Statement

The Fairfield/Suisun Community Action Council, Incorporated is a 501 (c) (3), non-profit organization that serves the "at-risk" and "in-crisis" populations living in and around the Fairfield/Suisun area through "information and referral" services & direct human/social services so that we may help some to live more self-sufficient, independent and dignified lives.

In addition, our on going goal is; to improve the way in which we deliver these services, to make every effort to better prepare & educate our consumers and to increase public awareness of our agency & our client's needs.

Description

We are here to help! The CAC's philosophy of help is to teach our clients how to help themselves, not to further their problems by making them dependent on us. The CAC provides Basic Needs like Food, Clothing and Shelter and Supportive Services such as Rental Assistance, Homeless Assistance, Holiday Baskets, Toys and Case Management. In addition we provide Information about and Referrals to other community based organizations, churches and/or government agencies that can help our clients with additional needs. Our Job Development program prepares and assists people for the workforce. Other services (although limited) are also available like transportation & motel vouchers and other emergency services.
