To provide timely, competent and adequate emergency medical care to the citizens of the communities we serve. To promote and foster community education programs to prepare the public for emergency situations.
Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corps provides emergency medical care to the sick and injured. COCVAC operates three Advanced Life Support ambulance units which respond to over 2000 requests for assistance annually. COCVAC is made up primarily of volunteer community members who have trained as EMT and Emergency Vehicle Operators.
