The Malaria Program Performance Review (MPR) for the period 2000 - 2010 conducted by the Ministry of Health and released in May 2011, recorded malaria epidemic to be on the increase from 28% in 2001 to a national average of 45% in 2010, this explains why Malaria is still the leading cause of illness and death in the Uganda. Malaria is reponsible for 60% of miscourages in Uganda, it is also responsible for 30% of all children deaths in Uganda. Malaria is also responsible for 50% outpatient visits. All ugandans are at risk of malaria except those in montaineous areas where infection is low. In linght of the above Center for Community Transformation organizes year round campaigns aganist malaria.Our activities include health Talk shows on malaria foucssing on what is malaria, what are its causes, how is transmitted, how can it prevented or avoided, how does get know that he/she has malaria, symptoms of maaria, who are the most affected by the malaria epedemic,and what is the recommended treatment. we also teach women crafts work through sweing, knitting and craft making using local materials. Our activities are for now concentrating in Mubende District.

Virtual Opportunity
Today on the 27th September 2022, It is a very important day in the lives of 3 children Trust, Jacob and Gedion. In the Children Alternative Care Panel (CACP) held at Mityana District, we identified 3 foster mothers who have committed to foster 3 children one each with intention to adopt them these children were identified from a children Home in Mityana and now they are going to be absorbed in a family life like other children with mothers and fathers.
