Mission Statement

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of affordable, high quality musical performances for our Orange County communities. We focus on providing opportunities for local talent and youth to perform in an orchestal environment.

Description

OUR VISION Driven by our Mission, we have three objectives:

-Provide affordable, interactive music events

-Involve our youth in music performance and education programs

-Provide the opportunity for local musicians to perform symphonic music

The Huntington Beach Symphony Orchestra was formed in February 2009 as a nonprofit corporation. The idea of providing high level symphonic music at reasonable cost evolved from the experience of our music director, Grant Sevdayan. His background and education in conducting as well as his position as Music Director at St Vincent de Paul Church was the genesis of our Orchestra. The Symphony has performed over 20 successful concerts in the last five years in venues such as the Huntington Beach Cultural Center and Library Theatre, the Robert B Moore Theatre at Orange Coast College and the Mainstage Theater at Golden West College.
