Mission Statement

SPECIAL KIDS' mission is to offer exceptional childcare to children who face developmental, physical or medical challenges so that their parents can work, attend school or pursue personal interests. SPECIAL KIDS admits children of any race, color, religion, national and ethic origin, ability or disability.

Description

SPECIAL KIDS is a state-licensed, two star childcare center designed for the care of special needs children and young adults with a focus on inclusion and personal development. The SPECIAL KIDS program strives to maintain a ratio of approximately 1/3 typical to 2/3 special needs. SPECIAL KIDS offers outcome based very early to early learning. SPECIAL KIDS offers before and after school care, nutrition, summer enrichment and community exploration. Additional programs include respite care, parent night out, advocacy, parent support group meetings, referral and resources and on-site therapy by rehabilitation specialists.
