Mission Statement

The mission of Collinsville Faith In Action is to put our faith into action by doing what we are called to do: to reach out and serve one another as friends and neighbors of a united faith community, to ease loneliness and isolation, and to make a difference in the lives of others.

Description

Our volunteer caregivers, representing eight local churches and a number of civic organizations, provide transportation, shopping assistance, companionship, respite for family caregivers, occasional light housekeeping, seasonal yard maintenance, and minor home repair without charge to elderly and disabled individuals living in Collinsville, Caseyville, Maryville, and State Park, IL. Services are available to anyone living in our service area without regard to church affiliation or faith tradition. (When possible, we also serve individuals living in adjacent communities who are affiliated with a congregation within our service area.)
